Nikon's first autofocus 35mm SLR. Launched in 1986.
Powered by four AAA batteries.
Uses TTL passive PDAF.
I also have the Nikon SB-16 speedlight.
Lenses
Accepts all F-mount lenses, but only autofocuses with lenses designated "AF." Fully automatic exposure only works with Ai-S lenses. (G-type lenses not supported.)
