Ken Shan

I went to college with Ken. We had many interesting conversations that first began when he showed me huhebi in 1995 (I believe). {nid 22T}

The last time I talked to Ken was when I ran into him at the first LightweightLanguagesWorkshop at MIT in 2001. (See my writeup for DrDobbsJournal -- password is required.) Ken made an offhand observation that I thought was brilliant: spreadsheets are functional languages. {nid 22U}
